How We Rated
Although visiting a beauty salon to get your nails painted is very enjoyable and relaxing, it can also be very expensive in the long run. Therefore, in order to save a bit money, purchasing your very own UV nail lamp is a great investment and it’s exactly what we did a few years ago. Initially, we used a budget nail lamp but we eventually upgraded to a more professional machine after testing multiple alternatives.
During our testing of multiple nail lamps, we always tried to test out all of lamp’s functionality. This includes testing the timers, automatic sensors, performance, digital displays, removable parts as well as analysing the build quality. Over the years, we’ve experienced both bad and good machines and we highly recommended spending slightly extra for a higher quality nail lamp.

As well as our experience of using a variety of UV nail lamps, we also based our recommendations upon hours of research and a number of factors. Some of the factors that we took into consideration included the build quality, design, performance, additional features, ease of use, warranty and value for money.
Below is a video we posted onto our Instagram page that shows us testing one of the UV nail lamps.

Conclusion
Investing into a UV nail lamp is highly recommended if you are someone that enjoys painting their own nails in the comfort of your own home. It’s also a more cost effective solution to visiting a salon every two to three weeks and it’ll certainly pay for itself after a number of uses. Most nail lamps are also compatible with any branded gel nail polish too.
To avoid disappointment, we strongly recommend purchasing a higher quality lamp over the budget options available. Although there are some great budget options on the market, the premium alternatives offer a superior construction and often come with far more functionality too.
